Established in 2006 by John McKinnon Fowler, Fowler Law Firm has a broad range of legal experience and expertise.  John Fowler established Fowler Law Firm to meet the legal needs of everyday people.  The firm is committed to providing responsive, cost effective legal services of the highest quality. 

John McKinnon Fowler was born and raised in Dallas, Texas and attended Lake Highlands High School, the University of Texas at Dallas, and Texas Wesleyan University School of Law.  Mr. Fowler was introduced to the business of law in 1985 when he began working in the law office of his father, the Hon. Craig Fowler, who is a former Dallas County District Judge.  Prior to his admission to practice law in Texas, Mr. Fowler worked for several law firms including Storey Armstrong Steger & Martin, Locke Purnell Rain Harrell, and Hirsch Robinson Sheiness & Glover.  Mr. Fowler began working for TIG Insurance Company during his third year of law school, and continued working for TIG as a Litigation Attorney and Litigation Manager for approximately 3 years.  TIG provided Mr. Fowler with a wealth of knowledge in the field of insurance claims, insurance litigation, and catastrophic injury claims.  Armed with this knowledge, Mr. Fowler entered private practice in 2001 where he concentrated his practice in the areas of insurance defense, insurance coverage & bad faith, mediation, personal injury, toxic tort litigation, workers compensation, and wrongful death & catastrophic injury litigation.  Mr. Fowler also has significant experience in the areas of family law, criminal law, juvenile law, and land use planning & zoning. 

Mr. Fowler has been very active in the community and is a member of several professional, political and community organizations including: American Bar Association, Dallas Bar Association, Dallas County Republican Party, Dallas County Young Republicans, Dallas Volunteer Attorney Program, Dallas Zoological Society, Defense Research Institute, Dispute Mediation Services, Greater Dallas Pachyderm Club, Greater Dallas Republicans, Heritage Alliance, Old Oak Cliff Conservation League, Preservation Dallas, Republican Lawyers of Dallas, Republican National Lawyers Association, Republican National Committee, Republican Party of Texas, Southwest Dallas County Pachyderm Club, State Bar of Texas, Texas Young Republican Federation, and Trinity Commons Foundation.  Mr. Fowler has also been an active participant of numerous Republican campaigns including George W. Bush for President, Kay Bailey Hutchison for U.S. Senate, John Cornyn for U.S. Senate, Pete Sessions for U.S. Congress, Jeb Hensarling for U.S. Congress, and Rick Perry for Texas Governor.  Mr. Fowler has aslo served the Dallas County Republican Party and Republican Party of Texas in numerous capacities including Precinct Chairman, and volunteered on numerous local political and judicial campaigns.  Mr. Fowler is a member of the Republican Party of Texas State Republican Executive Committee (SREC) for District 23 in Dallas County.
